Alaska/Yukon Trails is the bus company that brings you to most places along the highway.
Dawson City - Whithorse - Fairbanks - Tok - Anchorage all can be reached by this bus line.
And if you wish to go to McCarthy there is a bus from Glennallen waiting for you.
From June thru end of August there is even a shuttle bus that brings you from Fairbanks all the way to the Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay.
Please note that as of 2012 Alaska Direct BusLine is out of service and there is no direct connection between Tok and Whitehorse anymore. The only way to reach Whitehorse by bus is to go through Dawson City, spend the night there and then take another bus from Dawson City to Whitehorse.
