Denali, The Great One, is every Alaska visitor's "don't miss" destination. The tallest mountain in North America is so huge that it creates its own weather patterns and the view of the elusive mountain is one of the most sought after landscapes by Alaska's photographers and visitors. Aside from the view, Denali is one of the best places to view all kinds of Alaska wildlife, including bears, wolves, moose, caribou, and many others.
Denali NP is a wonderful place to spend a few days at a lodge at the far end of the only road into the park. Please follow this link to read more about packages in Denali NP.
If you only have a day to spend and your goal is to see as much wildlife as possible, take one of the following bus tours:

Denali Backcountry Adventure (full day tour)
6:30 AM Depart from the Park entrance on Denali Backcountry Adventure Bus. You will travel up close into the heart of Denali along the 94-mile park road. These buses are the most comfortable buses in the park. Experienced driver/guides will help you discover Alaska's premier wildlife habitat, from the taiga forest to the tundra. The road's last 30 miles may possibly allow an unobstructed view of seeing Denali. Wildlife viewing frequently include grizzly bear, caribou, dall sheep and moose. You may even be fortunate to spot a wolf.
Lunch is served at exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. Activities in Kantishna with a trained guide are available after lunch. Try your luck at gold panning near the lodge, or take a guided nature walk to Fannie Quigley's historic pioneer cabin, which was recently restored by the National Park Service.
